Condolence From: Kay and Bruce Broderius
Condolence:

Oh Wilbur and family, we are saddened by the news of Judy's passing. She was brave and courageous for so long. And even the last time we saw you in the mountains, she was able to give her special laugh. We will miss her presence in Allenspark. Sadly, our dearest mountain friends are slipping away. We want to give a memorial gift to the Allenspark Volunteer Fire Department in your honor and her memory. We hold you and the family in our prayers and thoughts and share your grief at her light being diminished. Kay and Bruce.

Condolence: Wilbur, you have spent nearly your whole life with Judy so I know your heart is aching. Judy was my childhood friend. I wanted to share a couple of things I always have remembered. First, Judy’s mother was so wonderful and kind to me. I still remember when she passed. Judy was so young. I still can “see” her mother standing in their kitchen on Francis St. Judy and I were in junior choir at the First Methodist Church when it was downtown. We really were good kids but one day for some reason we two decided to lock ALL the doors to the church including the boiler room door. Our choir leader, Marcia (I can’t remember her last name but she was also our PE teacher at Central Intermediate School) who was really nice to us and our Pastor, Ron Grooters Sr., tried and tried to get in. Judy and I hid in the upstairs loft behind a bench. After everyone missed choir practice because they were locked out, somehow(?????) Pastor Grooters and Marcia were able to gain access to the church.
I remember Judy and I sitting in the Pastor’s office and he and Marcia talking to us.. I can’t remember anything they said but to this day I remember Judy and I and that afternoon. High school came, and she met you and I was busy and we just drifted apart. I hadn’t seen her until our 50th class reunion in 2010. I loved sitting with her at Anderson Farm.. Tho we lived far away and our lives never crossed again until that day, I felt so blessed to relive those memories. Our lives had come together again and our childhood friendship. See you in Heaven, Judy.

Condolence: Dear Wilbur and family~ We were saddened to learn of Judy's passing. Our wonderful LHS memories will help us remember her so fondly. My years at Longmont High School were made special working in the office with Judy...her shoes were tough to fill, and the office changed without her special touch! She also had good jokes with Rodney, having been there during his time at LHS! We send our sincere condolences and prayers of comfort at this difficult time.

Condolence: Our world became a little darker without our friend Judy. She opened many opportunities and insights about family and professional relationships. I will always cherish memories she shared with everyone at Longmont High School. Hard work and gentle leadership guided us during her years as a Trojan.
God bless Wilbur and their family.

With love, Janet Davidson
