Wally Belsey, Jr. passed away September 19, 2018 at his home. He was 79 years old.

Wally was born on January 11, 1939 in Renton, Washington to Wallace Everett and Bobbie Ann (Duncan) Belsey. After High School, Wally enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.

After his discharge, Wally joined the RTD in Los Angeles, California. He worked for RTD and First Transit for 49 ½ years until his retirement in 2018.

Wally was a member of the American Legion Post 32. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and he loved to go to the mountains.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Judy Taylor; his children Wallace Everett Besley III, Denise Belsey and Danielle (Kirk) Von Husen; his grandchildren Jessica and Collin; his stepchildren Scott (Gwen) Bedics, James (Laura) Voss and Deborah Starkey; his step grandchildren Ryan and Casey Bedics, Jacob and Kaylee Voss; his step great-grandchild Ryder; his siblings Robert (April) Belsey, James Belsey and Paulette Lopez; his close friend Roy Steens and his wife in California; and numerous other friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm-2:00pm, Saturday October 13th, 2018 at the American Legion Post 32 in Longmont.
