Marjorie L. Perry, 79, passed away July 6, 2018 at the TRU Community Hospice Care Center in Longmont.

She was born May 31, 1939 in Ogden, Utah to Raymond H. and Marguriette LaVerne (Ames) Craig. She moved at a young age with her family to Oklahoma City, OK where she grew up and graduated from Putnam High School in 1958. Margie attended Tulsa University.

On July 11, 1970 she married Gerald Perry in Denver, Colorado. In 1974 they moved to Longmont and have made their home here since.

Margie was a loving wife and mother. She worked at Joslin’s in Longmont from 1991 to 1995.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 32 in Longmont.

Margie enjoyed fishing and loved to read. She was very creative especially doing oil paintings and charcoal drawings.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Distil and her parents.

Margie is survived by her loving husband Jerry Perry, sister Terri Bristow and her husband Steve Curtis and three grandchildren Justin, Chelsea and Sarah Distil.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10:30 am Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with interment at 1:15 pm Thursday at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Share condolences at www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com.
