Condolence: To a great teacher and amazing friend

Condolence: I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Colleen's family. I know she will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. I find great comfort in the hope for the future present in the bible. At Isaiah 25: 8, the Bible promises a time when God “will swallow up death forever.” Also, Acts 24:15 boldly states, "there is going to be a resurrection." The resurrection this verse talks about will give us the opportunity to see our lost loved ones again on Earth. I know it will be a joyous time when you can reunite with Colleen! Condolence: Thoughts of healing and solace to all who are grieving the loss of this bright light in the world. I was fortunate enough to work with Colleen at Mesa Elementary as an Occupational Therapist for three years. My job is to support the teacher, so it was a pleasure to work with Colleen in the role of support, working in her light. Such a talented, loving, gifted, caring, patient teacher. So beloved. Her spirit will always with with us.

Condolence: We are still stunned at the loss our community is expecting with your passing. You touched so so many lives. When I told my husband Chase's 2nd grade teacher passed away he replied, "You mean the one we really liked." Thank you for the kindness and patience you showed each and every child that you came in contact with. Everyone that knew you became a better person. Thank you for being you.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of your most loved Colleen. I can't even imagine the hurt in your hearts. What a deep loss~ I remember so well what a beautiful child she was Joyce when I worked with you so many yrs ago. I can see she has been a light to many throughout her life. Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I met Colleen in a 3-year district training together. The first time I met her I was struck by how warm and genuine she was. We were playing a getting-to-know-you game and she shared how she liked to howl at the moon. I remember admiring her courage for sharing something personal with strangers. As I got to know her a bit better I was impressed with her hard work and dedication to her students.

Condolence: Sam and Grace, I am so sorry for your loss. I spent time with your mom through the technology cohort and loved every minute of it!! She was one of the most positive people I have ever met. And, to have such great kids, she must have been an awesome mom too!!
