On Monday, January 22, 2018 heaven gained an angel when Mary Lou Nuoci, surrounded by her family and dear friends, passed away peacefully, and gently. At the gates waiting to hug her were many loved ones, including her father, Angelo Nuoci; mother, Mary Ann “Heidi” Nuoci; grandson, Justin Nuoci; brother, Ray Nuoci; nephew Dion Nuoci; and her son Robert Buskirk. There were so many other loved ones who went before her.

Mama Lou was a fiercely loyal and loving woman with a generous spirit. She touched so many with her vitality, her humor and her empathy; and she will be greatly missed by her family, and the many friends she made as a life-long resident of Longmont, Colorado.

Mary Lou is survived by her sons, Michael and Patrick Nuoci, daughter-in-law, Tammie Nuoci, grandchildren Crystal Robins & Patrick Nuoci Jr. and great-grandchildren Alana & Ethan Robins, Sharon Dunn & family, and Pauline & Adolfo “Fofo” Varela & family.

A memorial for Mary Lou will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel at 326 Terry Street, Longmont, Colorado.
