Dorothy T. Greve 93, of Longmont passed away December 8, 2017 at Balfour Assisted Living in Louisville, CO. She was born September 5, 1924 in Louisville, CO to Thomas and Jiovina (Palizzi) Scarpella.
Dorothy graduated from High School in Louisville. She married John B. Greve on September 5, 1964 also in Louisville, CO
Dorothy was a bookkeeper for Rocky Flats, she retired in 1977.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, she enjoyed sewing, being a homemaker and was very generous in helping others.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 2000, brothers Carmen, Frank, Charles and Pasquale Scarpella, a sister Phyllis Davies, sister in law Ruth Newton, brothers in law Russell Davies and Robert Greve.
Dorothy is survived by her son David Greve, grandson Benjamin Greve, a niece Debra Scarpella, nephews Tom Davies, Allan Scarpella and Gary Scarpella.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday Dec. 13, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 3791 Pike Rd. Longmont, CO 80503. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM also Wednesday at the Church. Interment will follow at Foothills Garden of Memory Cemetery.
