Obituary for Jerry Lee Bryan

Jerry Lee Bryan passed away October 15, 2017. He was 55 years old.

Jerry was born on October 27, 1961 in Boulder, CO to Melvin and Opal (Brady) Bryan. He grew up in Lyons and graduated from Lyons High School in 1981. On February 12, 1983 he married Dianna Wittig in Allenspark, CO.

Jerry started working with his brother Larry hauling rock and stone in Lyons. He later joined the City of Longmont in 1990 working in the street and trash departments until his retirement in 2015.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking in the mountains, looking for antlers, gardening, and playing softball.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his welsh corgi Shelby.

He is survived by his wife Dianna, son Jerry Lee Bryan Jr. (Desiree Bryan), grandchildren McKayla, McKinzie, and Jazlyn, daughter Meghan Bryan, his siblings Larry Bryan, Marilyn Bryan, Charlotte Robb (Fred Robb), Linda Clevenger, Cheryl Ross, and Patricia Bryan, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Lyons Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow in the little church building on the north end of Hygiene Cemetery immediately following the service. In honor of Jerry please wear your camouflage (if you have any) to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
