Kim Poucher passed away October 13, 2017 at her home. She was 54 years old.

Kim was born on July 29, 1963 in Longmont, CO to Philip and Viki (Lanham) Poucher. She grew up in Longmont graduating from Niwot High School in 1981. Afterwards she attended the Community College of Denver where she received her Associates Degree as a Paralegal.

She started working for the Longmont Police Department in Animal Control when she was 21 years old, before working for various law offices as a paralegal. Her true passion was as an artist where she cross-stitched and painted and her work was published in many magazines.

She was a member at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church for her entire life. Kim enjoyed watching NASCAR and Football; doing needlework and she was an excellent cook.

Kim was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle Jennifer and Russell Cole; her cousins Chantel Cole and Bruce Allen.

She is survived by her daughter Cheyenne Poucher; her parents Philip Poucher and Viki McKinney; her brother Justin Poucher; her sister Valary Miller; her cats George and Lily and six nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday October 20, 2017 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Longmont Humane Society. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Visit www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com to share condolences.
