Condolences

Condolence From: David Antognoli
Condolence: My condolences to Brian’s family and friends. Technically, Coach Doug Watts and all of the other hundreds of Boro runners are part of Brian’s family, so we all feel the loss of one of our own. Using his dedication and talent to influence his teammates, he formed the bridge at a crucial time between the older generation of champions and the up-and-coming generation of Boro distance running excellence. Without Brian, there may have never been a newer crop of elite Boro runners. Thanks Brian for your role in the spectacular Edinboro distance running tradition!

Condolence From: Dave Oelslager
Condolence: My condolences to his children. I had the pleasure of being on the Warren High School Track team with your father. He was a great athlete and a very humble man. Dave Oelslager (Class of 1978)

Condolence From: Dave Bancroft
Condolence: Brian and I hung out a lot during high school. He was a two mile specialist and he used to jog with me for fun. One day, after we had run a short while, I said, "Bri, Why don't you run your usual pace and never mind me?" He gave me a look like, "Are you serious?" , then proceeded to leave me in the dust. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace, old friend.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with Alan, Amy, Eddy, other family members, Muggs, and all of Brian's friends. I last had the opportunity to see Brian and his son on 12/15/15, when he was visiting in Edinboro. A life cut way too short.
